Day 27 — My Favorite So Far | The Ascending Loop

There are a lot more checks (passes) than misses. Every week, I'm improving. The Ascending Loop, as I mentioned before, is my favorite stroke. No pun intended. If you look at the practice sheet below, I started improving midway on the sheet down. I noticed I started improving when I figured out exactly where the upstroke curves into the downstroke. I was able to connect it at a higher letter for a perfectly formed Ascending Loop.

I only have 2 more days left with class.  Yes, I have decided to purchase the Basic Calligraphy Course. It's six months long but since I've already pretty much completed the 30-day free class to learn the calligraphy strokes, it should take five months or so. I don't feel comfortable just yet, starting the course. I want to give myself an extra week, maybe two, and have a solid foundation. From there, I can move on confidently.

I will give a full review at the end of the course, which is in three days. I'm already writing it up, just putting the finishing touches on it.
